Champagne & Gold Bridesmaids Earrings

I had the pleasure of working with another Etsy bride recently and wanted to share some pictures! I think they turned out so gorgeous!  She really loved the Vermeil Quatrefoil Earrings, but she wanted a champagne colored teardrop bead instead of the emerald jade color. My response, "Yes! Of course I can make that for you!" I already had the most perfect champagne drops, so I took a quick pic and sent her this...
Gorgeous, right? Why I didn't think that design before, who knows, but I'm in love with these earrings! Seriously. And so was the bride! She ordered six pairs for her bridesmaids and a pair for herself too!
Here's some more pics of the earrings:

I was just thrilled with how they turned out! And the best part is these are perfect for the wedding, but they're also great for the girls to wear afterwards. Classic gold quatrefoil design paired with a neutral teardrop make these earrings dressy or casual!

A little shopping at the LAM

I couldn't be at the Lowcountry Artist Market without picking up a couple things for myself! I needed to shop the awesomeness too! I was busy pretty much the entire show, but I had a couple of minutes to sneak away and do a little shopping!

First stop: Rewined candles. If you have never experienced the smell of these candles, then you need go buy some right now! They are incredible and hands down my favorite candle line! They use recycled wine bottles and fill them with natural soy wax in scents mimicking your favorite wines! My favorite scent is the Pinot Noir, but since I already had one at home I picked up Sangria (their summer scent) and Sauvignon Blanc at the show! You can find them online here.

Here's a pic from when I was creating this bridesmaid order with a morning cup of coffee and a Rewined candle.

Second stop: Whiskey Kittens for a lovely new iPhone case! Erica has some awesome designs but I had my eye on the teal chevron case! I'm really into chevron these days and one of my favorite colors is teal so that iPhone case was the perfect combo! You can find all her lovely iPhone cases in her Etsy shop here.

Believe me, I could've spent every penny to my name, but I had to show some self control! I definitely have some great idea for gifts! That's all for now!

Successful Show

Whew! It's definitely been a little while since I've posted, but I've been busy bee for sure! Last week I was preparing for the Lowcountry Artist Market. I always feel like I'm not going to have enough jewelry so the week before I go on a crazy binge and make tons of new jewels! The only problem - I start setting up my table and realize I brought WAY too much! Oh well!

As always, the LAM was absolutely amazing! It's my very favorite show and I'm so thankful to be included each time! Kristen always does an incredible job selecting vendors and there's always a nice crowd! And this time I was between two fantastic sellers: Dodeline Design and Inherited. You should definitely check out their Etsy shops! Dodeline Design creates hilarious greeting cards, personalized stationery and custom wedding invitations. Sarah's super sweet and very talented! Inherited is a beautiful vintage shop with lovely dresses, tops, skirts and shoes! Sabrina definitely has an eye for fashion!

Here are a couple photos I snapped before the show started:
As you can see, my table was overflowing with jewelry! My number one seller were the Quatrefoil Dangle Earrings!
My little milk glass dish was completely full when I started and I only had two pairs left by the end! Time to order some more and restock the online shop!

Blushing Bridesmaids

The past couple weeks I had the pleasure of working with a very sweet bride through Etsy on some custom earrings for her bridesmaids! They turned out absolutely beautiful!! I was so pleased with the end design and I'm pretty sure the bride was too when I got an e-mail from her yesterday saying that she absolutely loved them! Responses like that make me love what I'm doing!

I wanted to share a little bit about the process of getting to the end design...

She really loved these sweet blush pearl earrings that were listed in my shop, so I sent her a pair so she could make sure they matched the bridesmaids dresses.
The blush color matched perfectly (thank goodness!) but she asked if I could make them 2 drop pearl earrings instead of just the 1 pearl. I said, "yes! of course", and sent her a photo of these new designs.

We both decided that this design was the best! The crystal at the top with the two blush coin pearls hanging down. Classy, beautiful and perfect for her bridesmaids!

She ordered 6 pairs for her bridesmaids and kept the first pair, the one pearl drop earrings, for her junior bridesmaid!

Here are some more photos of the final design:

So pretty! I just love them!
